RAINFOREST MASKS
In late 2015 I was approached by Ivy Kids to produce concept illustrations for a children's book they were working on. The book in question would include various paper masks and drawings of tropical wildlife. I was given almost complete creative control of the visual style the book would eventually use and so I made the decision to adapt my usual intricate work to suit a younger audience. After being well received, I was commissioned to illustrate the entire book, which involved around 40 pages of patterns, illustrations and decorative designs.
The entire process took 3 months to complete and challenged not only my drawings skills, but my art direction, communication and time management. The below images are a selection of artwork from the finished product which can now be purchased in book stores around the world.
