TASTE & MEMORY
Illustration work commissioned by Edinburgh based design agency Contagious on behalf of Gordon & MacPhail Whisky. This project required me to produce a piece of work based on the imagery laid out in a poem by Charles MacLean, dealing with tastes and memories stirred up by the Scottish landcape.
The final artwork was a black and white repeat pattern that reflected my own interpretation of the accompanying poem. This work, alongside that of 5 other Scottish artists, features in a printed book published by Gordon and MacPhail to coincide with the release of their 75 year Old Whisky.
